Port Allen, LA – Kelly's Industrial Service has been named one of the fastest growing companies in the country, according to a list released by Inc. 5000. The 2007 list includes Kelly's at No. 2,471. Kelly's earned its spot on the list thanks to a 141.8% growth rate – from $1.9 million to $4.5 million -- from 2003 to 2006. The company was started in 1983 by husband & wife team, Paul and Kelly Kleinpeter, as Kelly's Lawn Service, and today has more than 70 employees continuing to do groundskeeping and above ground maintenance services for oil and gas pipeline routes in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Aside from being No. 2,471 on the overall list, Kelly's also ranks in the No. 48 spots among companies in the Energy category. The company also is No. 11 of the 24 Louisiana companies on the list.
